The high protein diet contains animal and vegetable meals, oils and vitamins and mineral supplements. It is not easy though, to eat nothing but meat all day. The high protein diet is a low calorie diet and believe to suppress the appetite, and dehydrates the body. These high protein diets do not have the essential nutrients to maintain life, but puts stress on your organs, and can also decrease your muscle mass.

Red meat is a good source of protein, but is very difficult for our body to break it down. It requires more effort or more work from our liver and kidneys, on top of tat , is a source of unhealthy cholesterol which is bad to our overall health.
