What better way to get yourself up and about in the early morning than with a warm, sweet mug of coffee. Nothing can truly replace the taste and feeling a good cup of coffee can give you that enables you to forget that you’re still tired and don’t feel like getting up.

If you don’t know how to make a cup of coffee or have never done it for yourself, there’s really nothing to it. All you need to do it yourself is a tin of coffee that can be bought at any store, boiling water, milk and sugar. Put a teaspoon of coffee in a mug and add the rest of the contents as you like. Stir and enjoy!

That’s also one of the reasons coffee is enjoyed all around the world as a home-made hot drink. You don’t need to let it settle, you don’t need to worry about where to put those wet teabags or anything like that. As long as you stir the contents well with boiling water, you can’t go wrong.

Coffee is also more versatile than tea or other warm drinks in many ways. Do you know of anybody who drinks a cup of tea in the morning? Sure, sometimes it’s just a personal preference but just look around the next time you’re in a coffee shop one evening and you’ll see that coffee is certainly the popular choice to go with dessert.

Coffee is also a versatile drink in that it can be combined with other drinks to make even more delicious beverages. Coffee mixed with hot chocolate gives you an awesome mocha flavor while a shot of liqueur turns an ordinary coffee into an enthralling espresso.

Another great tasting alternative that can be enjoyed from the coffee bean is iced coffee or an iced coffee milkshake. Whether you blend just ice and coffee or prefer to throw in some ice cream as well, you can enjoy a cold drink that will give you the same rich coffee taste. It’s something to savour on warmer nights.

Another great reason to love coffee is that it goes so well with certain foods. We all know how great that ordinary peanut butter or jelly on toast tastes when it’s eaten in conjunction with a good mug of coffee. The coffee adds to the taste of the food, making a tasty combination.

True coffee connoisseurs won’t be satisfied until they get their fix of real filter coffee. This is not your ordinary coffee in a tin, but imported coffee beans roasted to perfection in a pot or kettle. The aroma is unmistakable and the taste even better. Brewed coffee is probably the best tasting drink you can make in your own home.
