Remote Control Cars and Helicopters For Special Occasions

There are many remote control models available to buy online for children’s birthdays, Christmas or when you are out shopping and they deserve a treat. Many people refer to RC Toys as remote control cars, remote control helicoptes but the growing trend is now to refer to them as RC Cars, RC Helicopters and so forth

RC Helicopters from micro to large outsell many other toys at Christmas with a superb amount of fun to be hard whichever variety you have. These very small helicopters are excellent fun for children of all ages right up to adults. Depending on your budget depends on the functionality of the helicopter as the lowest price models just go back and forward, up and down. As these run on electric, they require to be charged up for a short period of time before being flown. Usually made of very light materials such as a combination of foam and plastic, the low weight makes them excellent for indoors. Outdoors they can easily be blown all over the place by eve the slightest breeze.

This is when you can use a more study build RC Helicopter right up to the models used by professionals and can perform all sorts of stunts. The amount of control and tricks you can do with the helicopter depends on the amount of channels you have to play with. These models can cost towards £100 or over with the highest spec models requiring you to have a licence to fly them in a public area where other people, children and animals could be present as well as other dangers such as powerlines.

RC Cars are another very popular type of remote control model and something many of us have played with in one form or another at some point in our life. RC Cars can range from very cheap remote control cars which many children have as presents and ideal to drive around the house. For older children, larger cars can be found and designed to be able to run up down the garden, especially if you have a concrete path the car can grip onto easier.

At the top end of the RC Car range are Petrol and Nitro cars with Nitro cars usually found to be used by teenagers upwards, sometimes introduced to them by their dads as a Birthday or Christmas present.

Nitro models are very diffferent in that they require nitro fuel to run whereas electric cars just need a charge from the mains. As with real cars, nitro cars require you to run repairs, maintenance and general knowledge whereas electric cars require minimal of any of these areas.

When it comes to presents for children, the electric range of mini rc helicopters and cars are ideal for many ages giving hours or fun indoors and out. It can be hard to find an adult to in the vicinity who cannot resist having a go of the new remote control toy in the family.
